You can support A NOTE OF HOPE and see your name in the film’s credits for doing so! Not to mention you’ll get a warm, fuzzy feeling from contributing to a documentary film project. For more details on how to support this project, visit A NOTE OF HOPE’s contribution page on Indiegogo. (Please note these contributions are not tax-deductible.)
Equally as important, A NOTE OF HOPE is a documentary being made in the “filmanthropy” model–where film meets philanthropy. Through this film, we want to encourage viewers 1) to become more knowledgeable about the growing numbers of children left parentless by HIV/AIDS; 2) to support organizations involved in both caring for these children and changing the circumstances that contribute to this crisis; and 3) to get others involved in the cause.

This is Emebet, a girl in Ethiopia that producer/director Carolyn McCulley sponsors through Covenant Mercies.
There are many worthy groups doing this work. The Citygate Films team and the musicians involved in this production met because we are supporters of the work Covenant Mercies is doing in this area, so naturally we recommend this group. But fortunately, there are many other groups–large and small–tackling many aspects of this dilemma. The point is, there is a generation in crisis, left to grow up alone. That fact alone should elicit deep compassion and acts of mercy from all of us.
